The latest offering in Amazon’s endless catalogue of “romance content”. I wouldn’t ordinarily use that term to describe a film, but it fits The Last Sunrise (indifferently directed by Carlson Young) like a glove.

Nice acting but it was just totally trite shallow and predictable. Evan as an adolescent or when I was a young adult it strikes me as stereotypical and not true. It’s a shame. The actors tried their best but good acting needs good writing. They didn’t get it

The Last Sunrise wasn’t an ok film, but it wasn’t bad either. It felt more like a Hallmark movie with a twist of the type of television drama we see today. Honestly, I think this would have worked better as a limited series because there was enough story to build on. The screenplay was pretty decent overall, although there were a few weaker moments that made it harder to stay completely invested. There was also some unnecessary nudity that didn’t really add much to the story. The main character’s voice also sounded much older than the teenage drama the movie was trying to create, which made the character feel less believable at times. The casting itself was fine, and everyone did what they needed to do. Ultimately, The Last Sunrise is an ok film, but it isn’t something I would watch again. I’d recommend waiting for it to come to streaming rather than paying to see it in theaters.

I think it was a pretty good movie. The pacing was okay. Actors are hot asl. The ML and FL's acting however.. was.. a bit sarcastic/cringe like when Oriah is like "I'm not stubbornnn!" Just bad in general lmao. The plot is heartwarming however and i wasn't expecting the twist at the end. I'd give it like a 3.5/5 Nice movie. <3
