See more Rhonda M @RhondaMac Jun 29 Reading most of these reviews I reach the unfortunate conclusion that all comments referring to boredom and failure as a film seem more like viewers who themselves failed to engage, too quick and eager to critisize instead. Its theme is existentially hugely demanding requiring a solid as possible grasp on organic vs machine, humanity with its limiations and the artificial intelligence we thing we created. We birthed. Its a huge mind messup. Its where human reality and measured facts and figures intersect and to grasp it fully is tedious and draining. Becoming a physical vaccuum, somewhere between sentience and non being, which is - where? AI lacks all the plysical and emotional yet is to what it has learnt from us.Even when it goes further than we do as Johnny Depp does its still limited to manipulating what already exists in the physical world.
