What a stupid movie. Complete waste of time. How can anyone give this a good rating? Are people really this stupid to think this was anything besides a total garbage movie? Rotten tomatoes is the most pathetic movie review site to ever exist. Anything that is rated good is trash and if it’s rated bad it’s usually good. So sick of watching movies based off their ratings.

It was cool to see a modern take on Nordic mythology! The story is interesting how it crosses government drama with fairytales. Plus, the troll looks incredible!!

86% This Norwegian fantasy thriller is an absolute gem. The visual effects are nothing short of stunning, bringing mythical creatures and epic battles to life with jawdropping realism. Brilliant direction keeps the pacing taut, blending suspense, pulsepounding action, and surprisingly sharp comedy lines seamlessly. The acting feels refreshingly authentic, grounding the fantastical elements in genuine emotion. Breathtaking scenery-towering fjords and misty mountains elevates every frame into a feast for the eyes. The main plot is the weakest link, though it’s a fresh take for the fantasy genre and holds its own. It doesn’t quite match the excellence of the other elements, but that doesn’t detract from the overall thrill. I really liked it, highly recommend for fans of creature features!
