The film tries to deliver shocking moments with violent scenes and gore, yet many of the effects look noticeably fake. The blood and injury sequences often feel overly digital, which makes the horror less believable and pulls viewers out of the experience. The screenplay is another major issue. The story never finds a strong rhythm, and the narrative feels scattered and unfocused. Instead of building tension or creating a compelling mystery, the plot drifts from scene to scene without much cohesion, making the overall film feel surprisingly flat. The one bright spot is the lead actors, who both deliver strong performances despite the weak material. Their effort helps keep the movie somewhat watchable, but overall the film struggles to live up to its potential and is hard to recommend. I work in trauma and the surgical shots were spot on. The rest of the film was choppy and the end was goofy. Prof was good in his acting debut. It was worth a watch. There was actually potential here for this to be a good psychological thriller but it was all sloppily wasted on stupid woke, hyper sexual nonsense and then it just went downhill from there unfortunately. There was so much wrong when so much could have gone right.
