After a group of teenagers breaks into an abandoned mansion on the edge of town, a mysterious evil arrives, and one of them winds up dead. Detectives from the city are called in to investigate the crime, one with a history with the malevolent force that possesses this manor, and he's determined to learn the mystery of the witch of Merden Manor. Past collides with present as a phonograph, an altar, and the whisper of the witch condemn them all.

The haunted object formula actually has some proper stakes, while the imagery proves memorable enough. Yet its clumsy story, bizarre character choices, and awful dubbing turn it into a truly messy affair.
