Reanimating the corpse of Brontë in this rickety way, this update not only feels pointless, but short on self-awareness or fun. Go to Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Oct 20, 2026

The result is often disjointed, like a horror movie written in the margins of the novel's CliffsNotes. Go to Full Review Noah Berlatsky Splice Today Oct 20, 2026
While the missteps here are understandable, that doesn’t make the movie any more enjoyable. Go to Full Review Heidi Krull MovieJawn Oct 16, 2026
