4.5/5
The Descent (2005) Sebastian Zavala Kahn An unbearably tense, constantly surprising and visually inventive experience, which concludes in a depressing but appropriate way (thankfully, here it's arriving with the original British ending). [Full review in Spanish].

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (2006) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Now that I've seen this complete cut, I have to admit that watching both parts of "Kill Bill" (more or less) back-to-back makes perfect sense. If only they'd shown it all in one sitting instead of using an intermission! [Full review in Spanish].

Last Ride (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Could "Last Ride" have been more original and less redundant, and of course, more satisfying, if it hadn't included the present-day scenes? Absolutely. But what Lee and company deliver is still not bad at all. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
The Mummy Returns (2001) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Between the thrilling action scenes, excellent chemistry between the actors, memorable soundtrack, and moments that allow us to empathise with the antagonists (!), "The Mummy Returns" turns out to be a pleasant surprise. [Full review in Spanish].

Crime 101 (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn The interweaving of different narrative threads lends a solemn and epic tone to the production. It's the kind of film we should support and see in cinemas; otherwise, it will once again be relegated to the obscurity of streaming and (UGH) "content."

Cold Storage (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It's the perfect kind of film for those looking for a thriller with very light comedic touches and references to other post-apocalyptic stories, which makes the most of its talented and charismatic cast. [Full review in Spanish].

Send Help (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It's extremely fun and at times unpredictable, and benefits from two brave performances—impossible not to become a McAdams fan with this film, if you weren't already. I can't imagine the film without her charismatic presence. [Full review in Spanish].

3/5
Bight (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn There's nothing particularly provocative about the film, which will surely disappoint fans of the subgenre, but probably won't matter to those just looking to pass the time. [Full review in Spanish].

3/5
Greenland 2: Migration (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Its focus isn't on the spectacular recreation of grand disaster scenes. Like the first film, it tells an intriguing survival story that, for about two hours, keeps us on the edge of our seats. [Full review in Spanish].

1.5/5
Return to Silent Hill (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It's not scary, it's not tense, it's not even funny. The characters are incredibly boring, and the talented actors who play them do what they can with material that doesn't do them any favours. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) Sebastian Zavala Kahn If its predecessor was a surprisingly emotional reflection on morality, love, and the contrast between human hatred and superhuman rage, "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" feels like an eccentric continuation of those ideas. [Full review in Spanish].

Paprika (2006) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It is one of the most original anime films ever made, a movie that is not limited by its animation, developing adult and complex themes in an undeniably visually striking way. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
Kiss of the Spider Woman (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It is both entertaining and moving, especially because of how it blends social and political commentary with the style of a classic Hollywood musical from over fifty years ago. [Full review in Spanish].

2.5/5
Anaconda (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It's harmless, yes, but it doesn't elicit any strong reactions from the viewer, leaving them more indifferent than anything else. And sometimes, that's even worse than producing a truly terrible film. [Full review in Spanish].

The Day After Tomorrow (2004) Sebastian Zavala Kahn The perfect movie for fans of this type of cinema and for those at home looking for a fast, furious, and both fatalistic and hopeful experience. [Full review in Spanish].

The Family Stone (2005) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I finally understand why "The Family Stone" has become a cult classic; it has its flaws, but at the same time, it's comforting to watch it during this Christmas season. [Full review in Spanish].

Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Haters of the saga won't be converted, but those who always have a good time on Pandora, like Yours Truly, will have a great experience with this new movie. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
The Housemaid (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn If you ignore some of its plot holes and the fact that it lasts at least fifteen minutes longer than it should, it's easy to believe that "The Housemaid" has become such a mass phenomenon. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
Van Helsing (2004) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Between its spectacular production design, excellent makeup work, interesting visual effects and ambitious story, "Van Helsing" feels like an inflated, epic, varied and fast-paced adventure. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn "Wake Up Dead Man" is a worthy sequel, superior to "Glass Onion" and fascinating in its execution. The mystery is brilliantly handled, and the performances of O'Connor, Craig, and Close help us connect with their characters. [Full review in Spanish].

100 Meters (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Brilliantly animated and narratively simple, the film manages to convey a lot visually, which is compensated for by the sometimes stiff and frequently flowery dialogue. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
One More Shot (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn If you give "One More Shot" a chance, you'll find a light and fun experience that, despite resembling other similar films, ends up working more on a dramatic than a comedic level. [Full review in Spanish].

4.5/5
Zootopia 2 (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I wasn't expecting anything spectacular from "Zootopia 2," so the film ended up surprising me. I just hope the inevitable third installment maintains this level of quality; expectations for that one will certainly be high. [Full review in Spanish].

2.5/5
The Carpenter's Son (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn "The Carpenter’s Son" is more of an intriguing experiment than a truly satisfying film; its high points are very high, but its low points are in the underworld. [Full review in Spanish].

4.5/5
The Threesome (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn The best romantic comedy I've seen in a long time. By tackling topics that were taboo until recently through a funny yet self-aware narrative, the film manages to captivate, entertain, and evoke emotional reactions in the viewer. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Greenland (2020) Sebastian Zavala Kahn If it separates itself from more generic fare, it's because it focuses on a particular family and not on ten thousand different characters, and because it places great emphasis on the emotional tragedy they find themselves in. [Full review in Spanish].

Wicked: For Good (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn "Wicked: For Good" will appeal to fans of Broadway, the previous film, and musicals in general, and will entertain everyone else. Something tells me this won't be the last time we step into this version of the Land of Oz. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Steal Away (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn "Steal Away" may be a bit too subtle at times and seems more interested in functioning on an allegorical level than a narrative one, but despite its flaws, it still ends up being a distinct and intriguing experience. [Full review in Spanish].

1/5
Sofia, the Possession (2024) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It doesn't disturb, it doesn't excite, it doesn't make sense, and by the time it arrives at its incredibly sudden ending, it leaves you with the feeling that you've wasted an hour and a quarter of your time. [Full review in Spanish].

3/5
The Woman in the Yard (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I appreciate that it tries to convey something, and although I still think it's worth watching — especially now that it's available on streaming —I can't help but think that something better could have been done with this premise.[Full review in Spanish].

3/5
Lockjaw (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Blu Hunt is excellent, the directing style is believable, and the ending manages to compensate for some of the previous narrative flaws. But "Lockjaw" still feels more like an eccentric "curiosity" than a proper feature film. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
The Running Man (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I found it just as entertaining as the 1980s version, but in a completely different way; more spectacular, faster-paced, and even a little overwhelming. The film works, but fans of Wright might be slightly disappointed. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
The Running Man (1987) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It may not be as clever as "The Terminator," or as legendary as the first "Predator," but as a sort of satire of humanity's obsession with violence, and of course, of autocratic and aggressive police states, it works quite well. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Stone Cold Fox (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It has enough dramatic moments, good performances, and surprising twists to be more than just a nostalgic pastiche. Give it a chance if you can, especially if you're looking for a fun experience that exceeds expectations. [Full review in Spanish].

3/5
Predator: Badlands (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn The overall balance is positive—just barely—thanks to the film's good direction, impressive visual effects, a very fun Elle Fanning, and a satisfying expansion of the Yautja lore. [Full review in Spanish].

Predator (1987) Sebastian Zavala Kahn One of the best American action movies of all time: an incredible mix of huge biceps, bigger firearms, blood, and a little bit of science fiction. [Full review in Spanish].

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn What I appreciate most about the film is what it tells us about depression, and how important it is to face our past demons, even forgiving those who hurt us the most. That's where the film works best. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Good Boy (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn What could very well have been a film that relied too heavily on a novel premise, actually ends up being a palpable and well-crafted horror experience, where the dog's presence as the protagonist doesn't feel forced at all. [Full review in Spanish].

2.5/5
I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Considering that the first movie isn't a masterpiece, I suppose it makes sense that this new production isn't anything special either. But as a traditional slasher with low ambitions, it's at least fine to watch at home. [Full review in Spanish].

Black Phone 2 (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn A slow-paced supernatural story that gives its two protagonists a well-developed character arc, and thankfully manages to bring back the Grabber without invalidating the events of the previous film. [Full review in Spanish].

3/5
TRON: Ares (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn “Tron: Ares” is a decent blockbuster, which saves its viewers from being bored thanks to its fantastic visual effects, great use of colour, incredible sequences recorded for IMAX, and an excellent soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails. [Full review in Spanish].

Tron: Legacy (2010) Sebastian Zavala Kahn “Tron: Legacy” isn’t perfect, but it’s the perfect “legacy sequel” (ha); understandable for new viewers and exciting for fans of the original. [Full review in Spanish].

3.5/5
Tron (1982) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It still works as a visually interesting and extremely '80s adventure. It's not for everyone, but fans of science fiction and vintage technology will enjoy "Tron." [Full review in Spanish].

In the Lost Lands (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn The world it presents to us is half-developed, the characters are bland, and the overall plot is tremendously boring, even though it's barely an hour and a half long. [Full review in Spanish].

4/5
Dog Man (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It seems intent on entertaining with a ridiculous plot (on purpose), archetypal and charismatic characters, and lots of over-the-top humour. I didn't expect much from the film, but I ended up being captivated. [Full review in Spanish].

Affection (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I was disappointed by the way its central theme is abandoned, replaced by science fiction narrative twists that feel, paradoxically, both too complex and too simplistic for a feature film. [Full review in Spanish].

Gangster Squad (2013) Sebastian Zavala Kahn It definitely helps to watch it without taking into consideration the complicated context in which it was released, and rather keeping in mind its clear pulpy, simple and unpretentious inspirations. [Full review in Spanish].

Splitsville (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn “Splitsville” is an atypical experience for the genre, but it feels like the natural (and hilarious) evolution of the mainstream American romantic comedy. [Full review in Spanish].

Dollhouse (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn I admire what Yaguchi and his team have done here: they've developed a generally emotional and captivating story which, despite its flaws, still manages to present us with several moments of absolute terror. [Full review in Spanish].

Ne Zha II (2025) Sebastian Zavala Kahn Using a story very much from its culture as a basis, but treating it in a respectful and fun way and developing universal themes related to self-acceptance, family, and courage, “Ne Zha 2” convinces, entertains, and moves. [Full review in Spanish].
