Weeks after taking a bullet to the chest from his own son, Dexter Morgan awakens from a coma to find Harrison gone. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But when Miami Metro’s Angel Batista arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness, they soon find themselves deeper than ever imagined. A continuation of DEXTER: NEW BLOOD.

Sometime after the dirge that was 'New Blood,’ the writers remembered that ‘Dexter’ needed to be fun again and shifted into the entertaining reality the franchise is in now. Never bet against Dexter Morgan.

The new season’s murders have a rote quality, stabs at humor more like self-parody, and the ongoing introductions of new and old characters don’t intrigue like they did before.

While Dexter himself tries to find himself, the series is finally hitting a stride. Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection is one of the best seasons ever. A strong reminder why we love this dark passenger!

Michael C. Hall is PERFECT as always, but it’s the new challenges of a fascinating midlife crisis that Dexter must navigate that make this next chapter so intriguing. It’s familiar Dexter with a refreshing new perspective, and I’m absolutely here for it

If Dexter's "I'm over 50 now" inner turmoil and restlessness are treated differently than his past bouts of self-reflection and unease, Season 2 could be a very interesting take.

Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is devilishly delightful and could easily be the best season of Dexter that we've gotten in years.

A complete departure from the original show. Season one was well executed, but the script on this season was a cheap imitator of the prior source material. It also relied on cheap gimmicks and has Ellison written all over it. Ridiculous.

Just simply amazing very engaging and exciting to watch Hall perform and keep Dex going. I'm sure the entire season will be amazing and I'm already counting the days for Nov 6th to watch the next episode.
