lolblog T @RT47829063 Oct 22, 2026 it is a perfect movie, if you like action, i loved the plot twist with jaws one of my favorite characters, the effects were top for a 1979, a lot of great women, makes the movie enjoyable, by far from my marathon this is the best movie i ever seen. 9 out of 10, just because the effects are not aswell as they could be if they movie was launched today. Maybe it has something to do with a crisis of confidence in Hollywood, lack of imagination, or the presence of social media and the terminally offended amongst us. Recreational outrage, Joe Rogan once called it. There's also the activist streak in the younger generation. It takes middle age and maturity, and life, to make people recognise their youthful attitudes as what they really were, egoistic posturing. But let that go. A movie like Moonraker, it just wants you to have fun, have a good time. Let me entertain you, it says. And how! Moonraker bounces from one exotic locale to another, one brush with death to the next, and finally ends up in outer space. John Barry excels himself scoring this movie. The music for Bond's first sighting of the space station is pure impressionism. Gustav Holst would have approved it. As for the rest, spectacular stuff. See more IAM M @IAM1655 Jun 7, 2026 Moonraker is one of the worst Bond films I have ever seen. It tries to copy Star Wars at the end so much. They made Jaws a clumsy character than a menacingly character he was in The Spy Who Loved Me. See more David D @David2026 Apr 28, 2026 Another one of the greats. Moore delivers up another romp, indeed its romps in every way. Here Bond is fun! See more Read all reviews
