In a Disney animation classic, Dalmatian Pongo is tired of his bachelor-dog life. He spies lovely Perdita and maneuvers his master, Roger, into meeting Perdita's owner, Anita. The owners fall in love and marry, keeping Pongo and Perdita together too. After Perdita gives birth to a litter of 15 puppies, Anita's old school friend Cruella De Vil wants to buy them all. Roger declines her offer, so Cruella hires the criminal Badun brothers to steal them -- so she can have a fur coat.

101 Dalmatians, while not my favorite Disney movie, is a classic, decent film worth watching. The characters are likable, the music is catchy but not annoying, and the plot, though dark, is well executed. The animation is slightly sketch- like with backgrounds that are not the hyper realistic, detailed, beautiful paintings that were the standard for Disney at the time. The animation style is not my favorite, and the story is actually very disturbing, especially for children. But, nevertheless it is still a classic and is overall a very good film in my opinion. Would recommend.

Synopsis
