This war drama depicts one of the biggest events of the American Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg. The massive three-day conflict begins as Confederate General Robert E. Lee (Martin Sheen) presses his troops north into Pennsylvania, leading to confrontations with Union forces, including the regiment of Colonel Joshua Chamberlain (Jeff Daniels). Stunning movie. Is it perfect? No. Is any historical movie? No. Performances are stellar, cinematography is stellar. It’s as beautifully made as you could hope for when it come to actual events vs film adaptation. The lack of gore is a notable omission, but this is one of America’s greatest moments that deserves to be celebrated and remembered. PG and lack of gore makes this film accessible, and that is good.

فلم جميل و اداء قوي من الممثلين اخراج ممتاز و تصوير رائع و موسيقى جميلة لكن سرد القصة حسيت ان منحاز للجنوبين شوية مطلعينهم وهم نبلاء و يخافون الرب وهم بالاساس دا يقاتلون الشمال لان صار قرار بالغاء العبودية يعني شلون شاف هاي الصورة الكاتب و المخرج ما اعرف ايضا الازياء كانت رائعه

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
