Ben doesn't trust the artificial-intelligence technology, especially after the plane is hit by lightning and rewired. Critics Consensus

Loud, preposterous, and predictable, Stealth borrows heavily and unsucessfully from Top Gun and 2001.

Full of explosive mayhem and pulse-quickening aerial combat, this high-flying action romp offers polished, if derivative entertainment.

Cohen undermines his own effort to make a 21st century Top Gun by using so many quick cuts and zooms that we can't even appreciate the action sequences. I almost got motion sickness.

Neither entertaining nor exciting, the dumb and noisy Stealth will hopefully live up to its name by fading quietly from movie theaters.

Stealth is movie that I haven’t revisited in a long time and it holds up somewhat for what it is. It’s had decent cast of Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel and Josh Lucas. However their acting is barely ok. The writing was weak and it barely had a story. This also suffered the cliche love story that was totally unnecessary. The special effects were decent for 2005. Unfortunately this is a very forgettable movie that has a solid cast that is wasted. By The Numbers breakdown: Cast-7 Acting-5 Trailer-6 Ending-4 Story-4 Visuals-7 Direction-5 Sound-5 Genre-5 Sub Genre-5 The Faces For Radio score - 53

Overall a terrible movie. Weak and formulaic story line. Some good actors but a bad script and some ridiculous dialogue. I watched the whole thing while I did other stuff and still regret my wasted time.

Can't believe this has such a low score. Watched every few years for pretty much my entire life and is still worth the watch. Definitely not winning any awards but it's an entertaining film. Good action. Flying scenes are done well and the ai portrayal was ahead of its time. Actually close to what AI is becomming in 2025. It's currently on Pluto TV for free.
