Hector I @Hector1184BC 3d A beautiful, highly polished film set in the world of Jung, Freud and early psychoanalysis, with the Art Nouveau and Viennese Secession period providing a gorgeous backdrop. The main interest lies in the opposition between Jung, who wants to explore new ideas, and Freud, who seems increasingly obsessed with establishing and defending his theories and gaining recognition from his peers. The film is more interesting as a story and as a period piece than as pure cinema, but the atmosphere, cast and setting work very well. See more Scott M @RT75128960 Mar 31 I enjoyed it quite a bit. In the movie's defense, I couldn't get past the first half, so maybe it did get better at the end? However, like most psychology movies, this one suffers from a slow pace that began to wear on me as a viewer. I would definitely watch this again if there were nothing better to choose from.
