For many years, Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) has had the uneasy feeling that life with his family isn't quite what it seems. His fears come true when he finds a picture of himself as a youngster on a missing-persons website, proof that the people he's called mom and dad his whole life are not his real parents. As he draws close to uncovering his true identity, Nathan becomes the target of assassins, forcing him to flee with his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins), the only person he can now trust.

This was far fetched brain rot that was full of holes and has the poorly aged stench of the early 2010's all over it. I did find this mildly entertaining but ONLY because it was so bad. The poor reviews are because viewers thought they were going to watch a serious film like Liam Neeson’s "Taken". (That’s not the movie’s fault … the "critics" should’ve done their homework & gotten a clue from its PG-13 rating). This movie is geared for a high school or college audience (think of a more grown-up version of "Spy Kids"). It’s entertaining, fast-paced, has A-list actors, & is FUN ! I’m older than the intended audience, but I also love the Twilight movies because I can appreciate a high-quality movie even if the story or plot is for twenty-something viewers. Highly recommend, just keep in mind that "Abduction" isn’t a serious James Bond film & was made for young adults under 30 (…but sometimes that’s a good thing!)
