See more Stephanie G @Stephanie28 Jul 25, 2026 I love this movie. I was raised through the 90s and this movie has the light heartedness that made the 90s hopeful, colourful and fun. It's not the funniest movie, but it is a comforting feel good, silly, light hearted movie that reminds us of a time before movies became a club of serious lecturing to beat us over the head with. It's bright, with an interesting setting, some humourous parts and easy watching. See more Mickey B @Mickerdoo Jul 24, 2026 An enjoyable 90s parody. However, I don’t think Perry was quite right for Hunt. Give me Spade. Or Sandler? Perhaps even Zahn or Stiller? See more Blake- N @PBSAniDom Jun 9, 2026 Almost Heroes is the kind of movie that makes you wonder how so much talent ended up in something so unfunny. It tries hard to be a comedy, but most of the jokes miss the mark, leaving long stretches that feel more awkward than entertaining. What should have been a fun adventure ends up feeling like a chore to sit through. The characters never become particularly interesting, and the pacing struggles to keep the film moving. Many scenes feel repetitive, while the humor often relies on gags that simply don't land. Instead of building momentum, the movie seems to lose energy as it goes along. If there is one thing Almost Heroes succeeds at, it's proving that not every comedy ages well. For me, it's a masterpiece that belongs in the fire—a film that left me frustrated rather than amused. I wouldn't recommend it, and I'd rate it a 0/10. See more Elvis P @RT15571189 Jun 5, 2026 Idiot film critics give it a 5 score splat! This movie is a gem, classic, once in a lifetime comedy. Matthew and Chris were perfect together and the entire movie had me laughing. I give it a perfect 10. See more Read all reviews
