It's kind of a mishmash of a hundred movies you've seen before.

It's B-movie neophytes trying to sell a slick, but hollow scenario for a high-concept genre hybrid. American Renegades might look good on paper, but it's pretty tiresome on the screen.

Offers a particularly dumb kind of gung-ho Ugly Americanism...

The movie feels weirdly indifferent, even when it features elite soldiers stealing gold from an underwater city.

Renegades may have the overblown action set pieces, but underneath there's nothing much to be gained from its uninspired characters and narrative. Not even Simmons could save this one.

American Renegades is an entertaining, fun in spots, actioner that brings a few really good sequences to the table and makes its runtime feel a lot shorter than it actually is.

It was alright. The action was decent, but the story didn’t really do much for me. Had some fun moments, but overall it was pretty forgettable. 😭

I generally enjoyed it. Was it Saving Pvt Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Platoon or Full Metal Jacket - No but it was still pretty decent. Watch if there's nothing else on.

I've a bad habit -usually once I start watching a movie, no matter what, I'll watch till the end. At the end of this movie, I had to ask myself - Why did you watch this?! 🤢 This is an exasperating farrago of gazillion movies that we have been watching since a long long time! My floccinaucinihilipilification.

If you would give a war movie 1 star because of its lack of a feminine presence, then this isn’t your type of movie. But if you can put your idealistic opinions aside, and just sit back and watch a movie, you’re probably going to enjoy it.

Utter nonsense. And the way they depict the SAS is shameful. Left me a little nauseous…
