Kaufman has created a very smart movie, and I ended up liking it for what it was. It is not a heartwarming romp. It is a dense, sneaky movie about narcissism, cruelty, and Lisa's own shy resilience.

Drab and dull screenplay centering mostly on humans hidden behind (realistic) puppets (not the Jim Henson kind). They are drowning in a sea of their own angst. Unlike Shakespeare's King Lear, the characters don't have any insightful or revealing things to say. Spend your time reading the Bard instead.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
