One of those grand follies, like Megalopolis, where the director is just completely into it... You still feel immersed in this world, but it's a world we've seen before.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is still a treat to behold. The visual effects alone are worth the price of admission. While it does come up short of the first two movies this is still a solid addition to the franchise.

Fire & Ash will be no stranger to the Academy Awards and will make plenty at the box office. Pandora still dazzles the visual senses, but without renewed narrative focus, Cameron’s world risks becoming a spectacle without the resonance of the original.
