Alberto C @alcbertoo Aug 19 Really, I don’t know what to say about "Camp Rock". I think it’s a normal adolescent drama, with the same plot as other adolescent movies, but set in the world of music. In this film, however, we must recognise that different songs became famous among adolescents in the twenty-first century, like "This Is Me" by Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas. That’s a pretty song. Instead, the acting, in my opinion, isn’t really good. But the character and the acting that I preferred was absolutely Caitlyn. I liked how Alyson Stoner played her character. The part I preferred the most is the ending. I loved the creation of the final jam. It’s really cool to see different performances at the end of the film as a conclusion. For me, it’s a really good choice to end the film and the plot of the first movie while keeping the doors open for another one. Finally, I recommend this film to people who love Disney musicals and adolescent drama movies. What I would have liked is maybe a little more answers about where the old gang are in life and more emotional moments and higher stakes when it comes to the newbies but also special moments were missing like when they created these friendships all of a sudden everyone was just best friends but you never got to see what had led to these friendships! It didn't feel like you got to know them the way we got know the ones in CR1 and 2 when everything happened so fast?! But I actually did enjoy it I just didn’t try to look at it with only nostalgia and what I thought it would be, it’s something for the new generation and I can live with that!, we are adults now and I’m happy the new generation will have a small part of our childhood in their life even if it’s not what we were expecting! The idea is really fun and good, but the way they executed this movie was horrible. Also the dancing is not it.
