Unlike the critic's consensus, I thought the protagonist (Ben) was actually likeable and well played. I wouldn't watch this with teenagers due to the nudity but it was an interesting story and engaging. Definitely worth a watch. Well done See more Alain E @AlainE Nov 26 Very enjoyable. It reminded me of Nicholson Baker’s book Fermata about a different hero who could stop time around him, although not as innocent as this one. Should we need to explain that this is not a documentary? That no human can survive without sleeping for four weeks straight? The whole thing is playful, well constructed and has a satisfactory happy ending. Some good songs as well, plus excerpts from operas. Finally, it does include female nudity which seems to upset people more than killings and mayhem.
