See more Anonymous A @anonymous8185 Oct 25, 2026 The vengeance scenes were pretty cool & the entire “anti immigrant vigilante” stuff doesn’t really bother me. However it definitely has a political tone of violence to it that truly is just weird imo. But honestly the story was just bad. It did not flow, did not seem to have any kind of purpose. I love Tarantino-esque levels of violence as much as the next person but that’s the entire movie. There truly wasn’t really even a plot & it was all over the place. The acting was decent just no story. The timeline doesn't make sense. The movie lacked story building. Its just rubbish. Feels like some some anti immigrant teenagers decided to make a movie. Nothing but cheap racist propaganda. BUT: it strikes a chord and reflects the outlook on life and the sense of powerlessness felt by many (and the number is growing) "traditional" people living in Western Europe—foreign infiltration, an increasingly powerful and aggressive Islam, all framed by an economic decline caused by an elitist clique of woke and naive politicians. Seen this way, "Citizen Vigilante" is essentially a big middle finger to the woke avant-garde, which is sacrificing Europe’s former strength on the altar of (supposed) cosmopolitanism and tolerance.
