Alice Eve and Antonio Banderas star in Cult Killer, a throwback to the serial killer thrillers of the 1990s that’s predictable and ridiculous but divertingly entertaining.

Decent if slightly self-conscious thriller.

Some disturbing twists never yield consistent suspense in this atmospheric thriller, which winds up more tedious than provocative.

Cult Killer took a potentially intriguing story idea about a vengeful serial killer and ruined it with messy plot holes, too many flashbacks, and an idiotic showdown scene that sinks this movie into a pile of cinematic garbage.

Cult Killer shocks with a savage narrative of heinous crimes and disturbing imagery. The film features richly developed characters, especially Alice Eve's and a nefarious villain, explored through flashbacks and a surprise-laden plot.

This low-budget crime drama is far from a throwaway "B" movie. It never shies away from dark, brutal, but altogether human material, and it's unexpectedly rich in character and intelligent in execution.

I'm gonna keep it real I only watched it for Antonio Banderas. He was barely in it but the movie overall was still on point. Way better than I thought it was gonna be.

Utterly boring. A director trying hard to be David Fincher — but falling short. Alice Eve is a charming actress, but she can’t carry the role. The rest of the cast is passable; Banderas is just being Banderas. A forgettable film.

Ignore all the negative reviews. This was a very original take on a detective story and is well worth watching. The lead actors are excellent.

Confusing and not interesting. Not worth watching. Stopped after 20 minutes.

Antonio Banderas isn’t doing too many noteworthy things these days and is slumming it hard in Cult Killer a serial killer thriller from Jon Keeyes. Banderas though barely is in it and instead an uninterested Alice Eve is our heroine looking for a killer. There’s a little twist right at the end but the rest of the film is incredibly mindless and dull.

When one of the main characters is killed off in the first 10 minutes and he only appears in flashbacks to help give the overly predictable ending that you can see coming a mile away....its just wasted potential.
