This film does not reach the dazzling heights of her earlier documentary. However, Iwerks strips back the corporate sheen and gets to the heart of why Disney is not only special, but endures.

Disney Worldbuilders doesn't quite reach the heights of the excellent Disneyland Handcrafted. But the enthusiasm from those interviewed certainly is infectious, and it makes you fall in love with your favorite Disney movies all over again.

While not one of Leslie Iwerks' best Disney documentaries, there's still a lot of fun stuff here and some segments that dig in deeper, with the portion focused on Frozen's Jennifer Lee in particular feeling legitimately emotional.
