It isn't terribly exciting as a movie - director/co-writer Steven Chester Prince mistakes drab pacing as a stylistic match for the laconic charm of his lead actor - but the serious-minded humor has a probing sincerity that carries you along.

Easy watching, quirky, hopefully thought provoking. Some laugh out loud moments. Faultless performances all around. Billy Burke is exceptional. I'm an old fashioned DVD girl. Annoyed that I can't buy anywhere. Had to watch on YouTube. Be kind... just be kind.

Comedic tone but not really laugh out loud . I liked the lead actor and found the story interesting . I loved the fact the one guys job was a catcher, that’s top tier religion satire right there. 3.4. So was the pastor that lost his mind and now is a ventriloquist trying to reach a younger audience

A sometimes sweet, sometimes deep, sometimes boring road trip with a couple of characters thata re almost charismatic but don't quoite make it. Billy Burke is affable and charming but his "vision" (aptly & Biblicaly named Marian) is just a tad too vague to make a solid imoression. GAry Cole's fanatic reverend speaking through a ventriloquist dummy is wortht he price of the ticket however. I liked it but didn't love it.
