“Everest: The Other Side” becomes a mournful and increasingly solitary march. Maybe that’s appropriate. Morrison’s extreme compulsion inevitably pulls him away from us, leaving behind a more disquieting film.

The filming was spectacular. With the advance of technology to make it possible this documentary of a trek on Everest is the best yet. The story well written and the impact of all the events fully represented. When Jim finally is able to make his ski decent the audience makes it with him. I have to remind all that this is reality. No CGI.
