Scientist Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) persuades his arrogant former classmate, Victor von Doom (Julian McMahon), to fund his experiments with cosmic energy. On von Doom's space station, the crew -- including astronaut Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis), researcher Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) and pilot Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) -- are exposed to a mysterious cosmic storm that bestows superpowers upon them. For what it is it petty good yeah it still kinda bad but I really think the characters were good sue and reed are kinda the weakest but Jonny is Jonny and Ben did a very good job for what it is and what year it came out in it good.

No sé por qué a la gente no le gusta esta película; es buenísima. La trama está buenísima y, a mi parecer, aunque mucha gente opine que limitaron la personalidad de Johnny a ser un mujeriego, yo opino que esto lo hace interesante y divertido, sobre todo para su época. Admito que Sue está demasiado sexualizada aquí, lo cual tristemente estaba normalizado en su momento. Admito que es lamentable que hayan tratado de hacer una Familia fantástica "más actual"; me gusta más el concepto de familia retrofuturista. También es muy complaciente ver a un Reed inteligente y autista (lo digo desde lo positivo, sobre todo por su personalidad e hiperfijación).

This is arguably a fine film. The new Fantastic Four: First Steps is far superior, but I can't hate on this one. The final fight scene in this where they are use their individual powers together are honestly peak, and is a really good use of the Fantastic four as a team. I really don't like the portrayal of The Invisible Woman in this, but this is probably the best The Human Torch we've gotten.
