In 1973, legendary martial artist Bruce Lee dies while filming "Game of Death." Rather than scrap the movie, producers decide to hire a stand-in for Lee. Among the actors in line are a Bruce Lee imitator (Roger Fan), a white man (McCaleb Burnett) and a former TV star (Dustin Nguyen) who now earns a living as a door-to-door salesman.

Critics Consensus

Though Justin Lin's premise is precocious enough, the sight gags and comic timing are tired in this mockumentary about Asian typecasting in the 1970s.

This tedious mockumentary isn't even as entertaining as one of Ed Wood's actual films, and once-promising director Justin Lin has some karma to square for fumbling such a sure thing.

A very funny, equal-opportunity broadside that targets Asian stereotyping, and not just by non-Asians.

What little potential there is ends up squandered within nanoseconds; as both a parody and a polemic, the film is finished before it's barely begun.

What exactly he's trying to say about Bruce Lee's fame and impact or the banal reality of genre moviemaking is unclear at best.

Movie could've been great. Great idea, but the execution was awful. Just too many stories going around, alot of them were just not interesting.

Not great, but I was amused throughout. More for fans of Bruce Lee or fans of movies about Filmaking...

A wacky, young and ambitious director wants to finish Bruce Lee's End Game while casting some interesting actors to play the lead. A funny indie flick.

had thought it was more of a comedy then it turned out to be. well done mockumentary, but was not what I was expecting to watch, and felt too slow many times.
