zoop S @zoopswishington Oct 26, 2026 Very predictable and full of typical horror movie tropes that aren't executed very well, with too many jumpscares and not enough actual scary parts. Also some major plot points hinge on wildly unrealistic coincidences. The acting is also not great. also a side character says the line "women have testicular telepathy" which is probably the worst line ive ever heard in a movie See more Caleb K @CalebTheMovieWatcher729 Oct 26, 2026 It’s a very unspectacular movie that is more confusing than scary. It is an interesting concept for a film so the whole time you’re watching it you’re constantly thinking about how the movie COULD HAVE been good but was dragged down by poor writing and predictable execution. See more number T @RT27419524 Oct 12, 2026 Maggie Grace is terrible, Tom Welling and Selma Blair are excellent. The second watch through was much better as you understood the plot. Honestly its far better than rated here See more Tyson D @Spudsprout Sep 30, 2026 (Overall Rating: 2.25/5) (Fair) --- (Cinematography/Atmosphere: 3/5) You can tell this film was at least professionally filmed with some decent effects. The incontinuites between scenes is very noticeable. --- (Storyline/Plot: 1.25/5) There could have been something ok here but there are SO MANY plot holes and events that make absolutely zero sense. There was no complete thought put into what took place. --- (Acting: 2.5/5) The acting was alright, I have definitely seen much, much worse. However, it is nothing to write home about. --- (Character Quality: 1.75/5) They missed on opportunities that could have tied the story together better with these shallow characters. --- (Entertainment Value: 2/5) This film relies on jump scares that weren't effective, there's a bunch of pointless meandering going on. --- (Expectations vs. Reality: 3/5) Ill be honest. I expected this film to be much worse than what it was based on the RT critic score. It wasnt good but it's far from 4% bad See more B P @Bradster69 Sep 3, 2026 Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more Mark S @RT12842263 Jun 16, 2026 I thought it was quite a good remake a lot different to the original special effects are quite good as well. The fog affects. was more realistic than the original fog affect which were just a smoke machine, I think. I am a massive fan of the original the soundtrack was really good overall I don’t think this was too bad See more Read all reviews
