Haytham O @UtahOcean Apr 2 If you believe the archival footage is real - good for you. If you believe the archive of footage was fake/made up - good for you. I loved the premise, especially with a lot of it rooted in statistical facts. The town where this takes place in really is an oddity, with UFO sightings and abductions reported yearly. I think Milla’s acting was a bit over the top in a lot of scenes, but I think the overall premise of the movie was carried over distinctly. And in my personal opinion, terrifyingly. A lot of reviews I’ve seen have been based off angry people watching this from a point of prejudice who specifically wanted entertainment, not horror. I watched this from a point of intrigue, and that made it terrifying for me. I believe this is an absolute must watch for anyone who loves anything UFO related, just be sure to throw your preconceived ideas at the door before entering the room and sitting down. See more John M @Jmilz Feb 11 I absolutely loved this movie when I saw it in theaters! I had paranormal experiences and even joined a indigo meetup group before this movie came out. One member recalled his first memory of being taken. It was exactly how they took the young boy in this movie. This movie weaved experiences and history into it's story telling which made it such a gem for me. It felt real, the suspense made me feel dread, and the shock at the end was perfect. Real or not, those who've experienced the paranormal, see/feel the parallels that it spun together in this film! It's legit! Buy it!! See more Steven E @Lestat1994 Feb 5 I thought the movie was absolutely stunning. Milla Jovovich performance was totally awesome. She had so much depth to her character and the atmosphere of this movie was eerie and creepy. Though this movie was a hoax it made me believe that this really did happen and makes you think that thick could've happened to people till this day. We don't know what is really out there and if aliens do exist but it gives you an out the box theory. I don't understand why people did not enjoy this film it had so much emotion to each of the characters. Till this day I still have nightmares of that white owl. See more Jason W @RT21899927 Dec 21 The concept is good, but the use of fictional archives pushed as real crumbles in the first few moments as it is quite obvious the whole thing is staged (also the Abigale being interviewed is not good and the delivery of the lines is terrible). The cast is well put together but it's hard to look past the unsteady narrative.
