It does not succeed entirely, but it is well directed and has a nice aura about it. The cast is very good, nice score. It is way overlong though, that causes it to drag somewhat in the middle. See more 06/04/2011 A well done little noir with an unflinching and compelling performance by Elias Koteas. Boy, this film is dark though, and it loses steam about halfway through, only to have William H. Macy drop in for a scene and get your hopes up.
