Steven Russell (Jim Carrey) becomes a cop, gets married and starts a family, but after a terrible car accident, he vows to be true to himself. He comes out of the closet, moves to Florida, and finances a luxurious lifestyle with bad checks and credit cards. Very entertaining! I knew nothing about this movie, never heard of it, accidentally found a clip from it with Jim Carrey and it was enough for me to add it to my watchlist. Frankly this movie has everything that makes a great watch for me, I laughed and almost cried and went through all sorts of emotions. What I really love about this movie is that it’s not trying too hard to be perfect or great, it’s very well written and rounded. In the comedy/crime department it’s a success for me!

The script is so well done that I will definitely watch this again some time in the future. The acting is great, especialy Carrey. Very funny one liners & most of the scenes made me laugh, too. I am not a rom com fan but this film is very good.
