Born as an 18th-century lord, Louis is now a bicentennial vampire, telling his story to an eager biographer. Suicidal after the death of his family, he meets Lestat, a vampire who persuades him to choose immortality over death and become his companion. Eventually, gentle Louis resolves to leave his violent maker, but Lestat guilts him into staying by turning a young girl -- whose addition to the "family" breeds even more conflict.

Despite lacking some of the book's subtler shadings, and suffering from some clumsy casting, Interview with a Vampire benefits from Neil Jordan's atmospheric direction and a surfeit of gothic thrills.

Loved the 1st half: focus on questioning the morality of a vampires existence. 2nd half's more just horror still good but not as interesting in my opinion. A great movie but probably should have kept a more clear vibe throughout. Still a must see especially for vampire fans or a great gate way into the genre.

Interview With The Vampire (1994) is a film that I didn't like, I found the story very weak, the scenes with the vampires very poorly directed. The only positive thing is the main cast.
