[it] is pure genre, but that is not to say that its genre is pure, given how deftly it ambiguates itself between being a story of ghostly vengeance and a tale of psychological breakdown, while leaving the disoriented viewer to call the difference. Go to Full Review

A great disturbing film that builds tension and rewards you with some solid jump scares and haunting imagery. This film isn’t perfect and leaves some unanswered questions, but that doesn’t prevent it from having an effect. Go to Full Review

B P @Bradster69 2d Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more LAA A @LAA84 Aug 27 This horror film comes with a promising concept, but the execution feels incomplete. The story hints at something deeper, yet leaves too many unanswered questions — especially the cause of the hallucinations driving the plot. It almost feels like the movie needed another half hour to fully explain itself. My Scores: Story: 1.5/2 – Strong idea, but underdeveloped. Plot: 1/2 – Feels unfinished, lacking clarity. Acting: 1/2 – Lead actress shines, but supporting cast is weak. Effects: 0.5/2 – Low-budget visuals, not convincing. Enjoyment: 1/2 – Average entertainment; could’ve been much stronger with more depth. ⭐ Final Rating: 5/10 A horror film with potential, lifted by its lead performance, but dragged down by incomplete storytelling, weak supporting roles, and budget limitations. See more Joe M @RT72373245 Aug 18 Last Shift is a surprisingly effective horror movie that proves you don’t need a huge budget to make an empty hallway terrifying. The beginning is definitely slow—quiet, eerie, and featuring enough walking back and forth through the same corridors that Jessica probably closed all three rings on her Apple Watch. But that repetition slowly creates this uncomfortable feeling that the station itself is messing with her. Once things start unraveling, the movie gets genuinely creepy. The isolation works, the supernatural stuff becomes increasingly disturbing, and you’re never completely sure what Jessica is actually seeing. The ending is the real payoff. It’s clever, brutal, and unexpectedly sad. Jessica isn’t some horror-movie idiot making terrible decisions—she’s a rookie cop trying to do her job, and watching her get manipulated so completely makes the ending hurt. Slow start, strong atmosphere, great finish. Sometimes the scariest place on Earth is apparently the night shift. No one enjoyed this. Free my bro's eyes 😭🥀 See more blah T @RT45774859 Jun 17 i do not recommend this shitass movie. my sister nearly shit her pants for nothing. zero jumpscares. those lame cartoons who were trying to be horror were effin fake. i hate the actor though she was pretty also pretty useless for her acting. i hope that wasnt her just last shift but also last day for her life for wasting our time, money, buggles, mountain dew, fanta strawberry. lastly, our honors to Anthony DiBlasi for writing and directing this crap. we are surely coming after you. and those people who think this movie is worth watching need to watch cocomelon and bismillah song for jump scares.
