For large portions of Law Abiding Citizen we're not sure who is going to be the winner here, nor who we want to be, and though it won't make for much of a date flick, as far as intelligent action flicks go, it gets two big burly thumbs up.

nate: I liked it, I wish the movie had more guts and just sent Nick to federal prison and didn’t let cops and the justice system get away with crime. Edgy: Both critiques the justice system on some very insightful flaws while at the same time trying to get you to root for a guy who actively abuses those same flaws.

A very good one, worth watching (without the kids)… I tend to often root for the bad guy, this time especially YOU WILL TOO !!!!! Full of surprises, smart, suspenseful & fun to watch ! Don’t miss it…

83%. 11/14/25. Seen this movie a handful of times but hadn't watched it in a while. Really enjoy the story and seeing a smart man's way to vengeance for what happened to him and his family. Good cast - fun to see Jamie Foxx in a role like this as a powerful attorney being subdued by this man. Some serious plot holes around timing and of course entirely unrealistic, but if you don't want to nitpick, it's a very entertaining. 4/5 rewatch
