See more Santiago S @Milo0reo_04 Jan 30 Personalmente considero que la película estuvo bien trabajada, hay mucha gente incapaz de ver y disfrutar una película que lo único que muestra es la capacidad de poder que alguna persona podría llegar a tener si pudiera aumentar su capacidad cerebral hasta el 100%, lo que es intrigante, aunque la película sea ciencia ficción plantea hipótesis de lo que podría llegar a ser, la gente se cree critica para poder definir la calificación de una película por solo el hecho de verla, pero la realidad es que solamente la critican mal, por varias sencillas razones, les pudo haber parecido aburrida y absurda, pero si se llegaran a pensar de la realidad esta película está mucho mejor elaborada que las tonterías que vemos hoy en día, por ejemplo: Zootopia 2, Avatar 3, Barbie, Goat, Anaconda o la empleada, películas vacías sin ningún sentido, claramente Lucy no llego o no mostró correctamente todas las cosas, pero la película esta excelente, piensen un poco o mejor no comeneten. Scarlett is excellent and Freeman decent too, but it's Besson's playful, inquisitive charm that shines brightest here ❤️ See more Hughe J @Hughe Jan 23 Lucy was released in theatres in 2014 and stars Scarlett Johansson in the title role with Morgan Freeman co-starring. It was directed by Luc Besson who also directed another film that I thoroughly enjoyed: The Fifth Element. Lucy plays an American student in Asia who is kidnapped and turned into a drug mule when bags of a new synthetic drug are surgically implanted into her abdomen. They eventually rupture and the drugs start a sort of rapid process where her brain begins to evolve and she becomes smarter. Using her newfound intelligence she seeks out other drug mules to complete the evolutionary transformation and naturally comes into conflict with the drug cartel. Johansson was quite good here, as was Freeman (per usual), even if some of the science mumbo jumbo was total nonsense. The action scenes were quite good, the acting was decent, and I enjoyed most of the movie; the finale, her turning into a thumb drive, was really dumb though. Still, overall a fun ride. Synopsis in one sentence: Scalett Johansson takes a drug, and becomes god amid Disney Fantasia worthy visual effects. Completely nonsensical. Relying on visual effects to distract you from the fact that there is no rhyme or reason to what is happening other than Lucy becoming god because of a designer drug. See more Read all reviews
