Jordan S. @jswez Jan 9 One of those rare flicks that I can’t believe has such a low rating. I thought it was hilarious throughout, with both the leads bringing some unique laughs to the table. The story is not super original apart from other movies showcasing couples trying to get pregnant but then again most romantic comedies aren’t anyways. Definitely better than I expected. See more Peter W 01/10/2023 Overall, while Making Babies isn't a film for everyone, I feel it will be enjoyed by audience members who can relate to trying to fall pregnant and the effort it can take to see the significant miracle of a baby. There are some jokes to be had, but some jokes don't always land a laugh either. The film has some heart which was also surprising to see. See more 06/28/2020 While I generally enjoy both the leads, and they actually had great chemistry, the movie isn't anything special. It's a sterotypical story about two people trying really hard to get pregnant RIGHT NOW for about a year, and throwing away every cent they have on it. It's filled with sterotypical man/woman stuff concerning babies. It feels like its supposed to be so its more relateable to the the audience, but skews the opposite way for me, it seems so stereotypical its unreal. It all ends up to deliver the moral of the story in the last 10-15 minutes of the movie. I enjoyed it, I think you might enjoy it, but I also think you'll enjoy so many other things more.
