Entertaining, well-acted, and offers a great look at the history of Mexico's World Cup bid. The charismatic cast keeps things moving, though the clunky English overdub detracts from the experience.

Mezcla de hechos reales y ficción en el que se narra cómo México obtuvo la sede de la Copa del Mundo 1986, a pesar de los pronósticos en contra; y cómo fueron los días de gloria y caída en desgracia del artífice de esa proeza. Como comedia es bastante discreta, da la impresión que se quedó a medias.

It's been a while since a movie entertained me this much from beginning to end. The story kept me engaged, the pacing never dragged, and every scene felt worth watching. Definitely one of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a long time. Diego Luna totally killed it!

Una película bien hecha... en mi barrio... que tambien trae buenos recuerdos de un México que ya no existe. Y aunque creo que Diego Luna tiene mejores interpretaciones Karla Souza y Daniel Gimenez Cacho siempre es un gusto ver su trabajo. Una divertida forma de iniciar con el mundial de este año.

Diego Luna stars in this comedy , loosely inspired on the events that brought the World Cup to Mexico in 1986. Pretty funny. I’d recommend it if you are a football fan. 🍿🍿🍿🍿/5 on Netflix
