Not all bad. It’s just bad as a murder mystery. What does it say about a thriller if its best parts are not the actual murder or the clues that lead you to the killer, but the squabbling, grumbling interactions of a bored, middle-aged couple?

Commedia con l'iconico duo Sandler-Aniston che come sempre riescono a riempire i vuoti delle sceneggiatura con presenza scenica e soprattutto con grande complicità. La trama alterna momenti divertenti e taglienti ad altri molto più imbarazzanti e non riusciti; complessivamente il risultato è sufficiente ma di certo non resterà nella storia del cinema. La commedia crime è un genere che sta riscontrando molto successo ma in cui è molto semplice adagiarsi alle banalità dei propri personaggi, piuttosto che articolare meglio la trama; questo film si ferma nel limbo. Giusto per staccare la testa per 90 minuti o poco più.
