I really liked this movie and I'm not a Scarlett Johansson fan, I can't stand her face. Laura Linney's acting was so good and there were no boring parts. The movie is about Scarlett's relationship with the boy and it's touching at times. The ending is good advice to the mom. I would rewatch this movie!

Antes de Scarlett Johansson e Chris Evans se tornarem conhecidos mundialmente como Viúva Negra e Capitão América, os dois já dividiam a tela em uma comédia romântica que mistura humor, crítica social e amadurecimento. Annie Braddock é uma jovem recém-formada que, sem saber exatamente que caminho seguir na vida, acaba trabalhando como babá de Grayer, uma criança rica, mimada e praticamente abandonada emocionalmente pelos próprios pais. O problema não é apenas controlar o garoto, mas sobreviver à rotina de uma família em que dinheiro existe em abundância, enquanto atenção, carinho e diálogo parecem estar em falta. A Sra. X, interpretada por Laura Linney, representa uma mulher completamente absorvida pelas aparências e pelas exigências da alta sociedade. Ela exige de Annie uma dedicação que nem sequer oferece ao próprio filho. Já o Sr. X, vivido por Paul Giamatti, evidencia outro problema: um casamento onde o poder, a ausência e a infidelidade substituíram a parceria. nota: 6,5/10**

I really loved the little romance between Chris Evan’s and Scarlett Johansson I wished they focused more on that but was really good. Loved the way the boy got what he wanted in the end.

I liked the story. I think the movie explores a real situation (at least in a part of the world) and how nannies struggle between lovely kids and detached parents.

It gets tiresome after a while, because they didn’t have the sense to limit the exaggerations. In the beginning, the nanny enters the fabulous apartment of her employer and assumes that the master bedroom and bath is her quarters. Really? I abandoned it at the first commercial break.
