When God decides that mankind has become too sinful and must be wiped off the Earth, he chooses Noah (Russell Crowe), a pious man, for a great task. Noah must build an ark large enough to hold his wife (Jennifer Connelly), adopted daughter (Emma Watson), sons (Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Leo McHugh Carroll) and their wives -- plus breeding pairs of every animal. When the task is completed, Noah and his family witness God's wrath in the form of an apocalyptic flood.

It's as odd and schizophrenic a picture as you're likely to see in the focus-grouped, play-it-safe moviemaking climate of the moment, and the fact that it exists at all is sort of a (ha ha) miracle.

The film questions a creator’s obligations at earthly and spiritual levels, with complications that concern masculine privilege to color the margins. "Noah" doesn’t preach to the choir. It dares the choir to keep up amid minor chords & melodic inversion.

Good comedy. 1)Have you seen the polo shirts and jeans on Noah? 2) Aww poor Watchers, such victims. 3)There's more fantasy in this than Elden Ring and Dark souls combined. Bottom line: a sci-fi comedy. Recommended wardrobe change. Casting: ok

It's definitely not a movie for Christians....it's definitely satanic propaganda in the way that Almighty God is portrayed....as evil and uncaring. It twisted the entire biblical story with a lot of dark fantasy. I did like the addition of the watchers, but there were no mention of nephilims. Another deviation from the bible is the way that Methuselah was doing magic...things Almighty God hates🤦🏿‍♀️...and Tubal Cain getting into the ark, Methuselah drowning in the flood (although he would have died shortly before the flood in the bible acct). The directors took too much creative liberties with the film and I couldn't enjoy it. The storyline is bizarre and emma''s acting is over the top.

I watched it when it came out in 2014 and again tonight. Super compelling film. Suffers a little from pacing issues in the second half. Some of the characters don't have enough to do either. But I liked it. Don't let your religious beliefs interfere with your enjoyment.

How did this ridiculous story ever come up with the title "Noah"?! Completely full of lies. Does not align with the true Biblical account. What would happen if you took another sacred writing from any other religion or belief system and butchered their stories? Just wondering. The silent majority are getting pretty sick and tired of the many attacks on the Christian faith.
