It has tons of action and suspense but does have some life lessons and mature themes along the way, this makes it the perfect movie. Being into aeroplanes and an Agatha Christie fan, this movie was especially good for me, kind of like a modern reboot of the Murder on the Orient Express just that bit better, but even for anyone, this movie really grips you and you definitely want to know the ending. A good murder mystery has to include lots of what - ifs and you start to think it's someone but then it's revealed it's someone else, and this for sure included this. And that action sequence at the end was the craziest thing ever, really depicting what an emergency landing and plane crash would be like in real life (except for all the fighting!). I get how some people would not be too keen on this movie, but personally, I can officially confirm that this is my favourite movie (for now!). See more Mick C @MickC May 18 Utter codswallop. So glad I never went to see this when it first came out. I like Neeson, but this is like some frenzied teen's idea of a plot - just keep piling absurdity on absurdity. Meh. And what about the poor bloke our flaky Marshal literally scared to death? Never mind him (or the pilot), let's all smile happily at each other and walk off into the sunny uplands. Ridiculous. I’ll see anything he does because he gets action filmmaking better than 99% of the for hire filmmakers today. He rules. I was surprised that this had some pathos even with Neeson’s character.
