BTL @BTLreviews Jul 21 I gave this movie five stars because it was genuinely funny and entertaining from beginning to end. It proves that a well-made comedy can still make audiences laugh. I think they should seriously consider making a sequel to Another Teen Movie. If they decide to bring it back, I hope they keep the same style of comedy that made the original so enjoyable. And if they ever want a fresh creative team to help continue the franchise, C.A.H. Films would love the opportunity to help develop future sequels with even more laughs. It takes aim at early 2000s teen movie clichés and mostly succeeds in recreating and exaggerating them, but the humor is very hit-or-miss. There are a few genuinely funny moments and clever references, especially if you’re familiar with the films it’s spoofing. However, a lot of the jokes rely on predictable shock humor or obvious gags that don’t always land today. It also leans heavily on crude comedy, which can feel a bit repetitive over time. The cast is energetic and clearly committed, which helps keep things watchable even when the script isn’t at its strongest. Overall, it’s not bad or nightmarish at all—just a fairly average parody film that delivers some laughs but doesn’t fully stand out. A solid 5/10.
