That’s the whole concept and Barker’s insight. If you want to make someone love you above all else... the only way to accomplish this is to dehumanize them, to strip away everything about them that made them someone you wanted to be with.

One of the best written, directed, filmed, and acted horror movies I’ve seen in a long time. More of a psychological thriller than outright scary, but it will haunt you for weeks. Absolutely go see this movie.
