Unlike their heroic counterparts on the force, desk-bound NYPD detectives Gamble and Hoitz garner no headlines as they work day to day. This is the fourth feature that Will Ferrell and writer-director Adam McKay have collaborated on, and once again they deliver laugh-out-loud if ultimately disposable comedy with mixed messages about arrested male development.

dialogues are hilarious. I literally laughed so hard at the lines throughout the film. The opening section with Samuel L Jackson and Dwayne Johnson is wild. Their death scene gives you a total what the fuck kind of feeling. It is so ridiculously silly. There are so many funny things to talk about in this movie. It is a really good comedy and a fun film overall.

3.75 ⭐️ Goofy spoof comedy firing on all cylinders. So many jokes landed, the laughs just kept coming. Ridiculous and consistently entertaining from start to finish.
