Daring, ruthless and meticulous, Parker (Jason Statham) is one of the most successful thieves in the business. But when his latest robbery turns deadly because of a careless crew member, he declines to join crime boss Melander (Michael Chiklis) and his gang for another heist. The crooks turn on Parker and leave him for dead. Parker survives and vows vengeance, tracing the gang to Palm Beach. Lopez comes across as being in need of the paycheck. See more Laurie S @Karlwinters Feb 6 You have to suspend realism. The fight between Stratham and Bernhardt is stupid. What director would allow Bernhardt to still be alive after being smashed across the head with a heavy object who then falls hitting his head and breaking his neck. It's things like this that weakens the film. So many directors ruin their films like this.
