Risking his life, Luke ventures to Rome to visit Paul, the apostle who's bound in chains and held captive in Nero's darkest and bleakest prison cell. Haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds, Paul wonders if he's been forgotten as he awaits his grisly execution. Almost good. Just the cliches and over the top drama / suffering came across as contrived. It did have some good moments and felt like a good period piece, but it still fell short. Saw on VUDU.

This was a very movie film to watch. It was able to effectively the horrors of Christian persecution within that time period (although this is sadly an issue today on many countries). This was also a very effective portrayal of the life of Paul tge journey has been as person but this movie also uses Paul story to highlight the incredible Grace & Forgiveness we receive when we put our faith in Jesus. So yeah overall, a really good movie.

I found this on Amazon prime. This is an amazing film and I am shocked that I have never seen it. It was beautiful and brilliant and I bawled like a baby at the end. Paul was an amazing disciple of Christ and his letters are read constantly as part of the mass. This has made me get my bible and begin reading Acts,

Christian movies are never going to be 100% accurate so that's always an expectation before hand. I must say this movie had me engaged from start to finish. Even though we know how the story ends, it's still disappointing to see the loss of life, Paul's and the other prisoners in such a gruesome fashion.
