As a bit of forgettable, low-stakes Valentine’s Day viewing for the religious set, one could do worse. But those who only date their rom-coms "intentionally" could definitely do better.

It’s just shameless promotion for a book about relationship advice, released on a streaming service that also sells happens to sell the book. It even features lines like, 'This story hit so hard I Amazoned a copy of ‘Relationship Goals’ right away.'

I actually don't mind bad movies, as long as they're enjoyable. This movie manages to be BOTH bad and painful. Like, wow. How do people create this bad a movie and allow it to be released? Like, did nobody watch it beforehand...in post-production, or whatever? Phew.

This was a great movie! It was refreshing watching a rom-com that forced the characters to really dig deep past the surface of casual dating. It’s a movie with a message that hopefully encourages the viewers to become introspective about what they want out of their love life and evaluate how intentional they’re being. Kelly Rowland and Method Man’s characters were relatable and on screen chemistry was out of the park. The full cast had great comedic timing and there were great layers to the storyline. There were some minor scenes that I wasn’t crazy about but overall it’s a must see.
