Self-described as a "dirtbag time travel comedy", Relax stars the comedic absurdist genius, Rhys Darby. Darby leads as the stuck-in-the-past protagonist but in this case, his "past" is present-day Toronto.

A quickly paced slice of silly speculative fiction buoyed by the energetically off-kilter comedy stylings of Rhys Darby. He’s an edgy Mork from Ork, an otherworldly being, charmingly childlike but not above doing the drugs Holly offers him.

Not so much a sci-fi story as an absurdist’s approach to the whole paradoxical nature of the concept of time travel. It’s a film that gives us permission to say, ‘To hell with it all’ and just accept the story instead of dwelling on it.

By the time the film drags to its conclusion, the frenetic anything-goes energy of its first act is long forgotten and the only way to get that good feeling back is to travel back to the beginning.

Disappointing movie with a man who's 15 seconds of Fame that's been up ; just less than a Z movie needs stronger script ,stronger villain and maybe I can write it , it's not even half a star in the ratings cannot go lower than that; so I would not recommend this movie thank you have a good day. Come on Canada Try Harder ..

I'm not mad that I watched it, but not sure I can recommend it. Something goofy is going on with the Popcorn meter. It says 100+ reviews but I counted all of them and there were only 21.

I'm no expert in philosophy, but this is an amazing commentary on absurdism and nihilism. Ryse Darby plays the embodiment of this role. A light look into a time travel adventure with dark comedy that really explores this Nietzsche premise like a portland stoner. If you are a morbid scifi geek or love time travel stories, I think it's right up your ally.

Instead of sending a really smart person back in time what if they sent a idiot who just wanted to make some money. Relax answers that question!! It's worth the watch for a few chuckles.
