And while it all looks and sounds amazing (Gabriel Beristain's chilly cinematography and Hans Zimmer's eerie score are standouts) none of that really matters much if as a viewer all I'm doing is sitting there biding my time waiting for the end credits.

Like most American remakes of Japanese movies this is inferior to the first two Japanese versions of the story. The relationship between the mother and child never convinced nor did the acting. Dull and mediocre. A misfire.

8/10 - I liked this movie just as much as the first one, but the first movies are usually always better than the 2nd or 3rd, in my opinion. But again, I liked learning more about Samaras, the ending was actually what made it better for me, the beginning and middle were alright but the ending really had me paying attention! Again I love the creepiness of the movie!

Es de las peliculas que mas miedo me han dado en su momento de pequeño la primera vez que la vi sinceramente es de esas peliculas que solo recomiendo ver 2 veces 1 para disfrutarla y la 2da para analizarla y sinceramente no se si ver la "the rings" porque la tienen muy criticada y no se si darle la oportunidad sinceramente temo decepcionarme.

I loved the first movie…so WOW!!! I struggled to keep watching this crap…the fact there’s 2 great aussie actors ( im australian )..thare beyond SHIT..makes it worse! Please do your necessary painting at home and time it while it dries… You’ll enjoy it more… Not A+…C- etc Y- Why!? Clay
