In the mid-1970s, charismatic English playboy James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Austrian perfectionist Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) share an intense rivalry in Formula 1 racing. Driving vehicles that are little more than gas-filled, rolling bombs, Hunt and Lauda burn up the track, all the while pushing themselves to the breaking point of physical and mental endurance. Meanwhile, the women (Olivia Wilde, Alexandra Maria Lara) in their lives can only watch as both drivers risk death with every lap.

Having watched the film again, I was reminded of how bloody fantastic it really is. It is definitely arguable that it’s one of the greatest F1 films ever made to date! The cast was brilliant as well.

I've been meaning to watch this for a while. I know Ford v Ferrari was made after this movie, but that's the only racing movie I enjoyed, so I could not help the comparison. That movie took my emotions for a ride. This one was okay. I didn't mind the movie, but I did not care for the characters on the same level.

This is an epic movie-documentary. While presented in the form of a film, it captures the essence of the Carpenters beautifully. I did a bit of reading on them beforehand, and the movie managed to cover everything I could find. The storytelling felt complete, and the lead actors delivered exceptional performances that brought the story to life.
